A deeply personal selector with a sharp radar for the wacky, the moody, and the lowercase, mi-el’s style moves in careful balance, sliding from sung soundscapes and reflections on heritage into contemporary bass, electro, and vanguard electronics.
An NTS resident, she consistently blurs the line between selector and sound artist, shaping sets that feel exploratory yet grounded, playful yet precise. In just a few years, she has left her mark on countless dancefloors and listening spaces including Panorama Bar, Field Maneuvers, De School, Climate of Fear, and FOLD.
Beyond the booth, mi-el is the creative force behind Pulling Threads, one of London’s most beloved event series at Ormside Projects, further extending her curatorial vision into the city’s cultural fabric.
