Audrey Danza

Audrey Danza presents a vision of club music that draws you in right away, whether to the dance floor, an imagined space behind your closed eyelids, or both. The imagery is hallucinatory and futuristic. The grooves are optimized for maximum impact. Drifting percussion and ethereal atmospheres are underpinned by rushing basslines and thumping kick drums. The effect is immersive, transportive and emotionally resonant. Channeling the original essence of techno, trance and acid, this music imagines a possible future, a dreamlike space that’s mesmerizing, beautiful, always thrilling.

This soundworld finds its fullest form on Proxima, Audrey’s label and event series. Proxima is a place for playful experimentation, where new synergies among artists take shape. It’s also the main home for Audrey’s own productions, sleek and groovy club tracks as physical as they are cinematic, blending elements of acid, industrial, ‘90s house, hypnotic percussion and retro-futurist atmospheres. Since they began appearing in 2024, Audrey's records have been eagerly gobbled up by DJs and praised by critics, with her EP Next Stop earning particular acclaim and her collaborations with Andy Martin and DJ MARIA. both appearing in Resident Advisor's monthly Best Music lists.

Based in Berlin with roots in Switzerland, Audrey had her first rave experiences at free parties on the shores of Lake Geneva. She became a resident at local institution Motel Campo before moving to Berlin, becoming part of the Sound Metaphors family and touring the world as a DJ, playing everywhere from fabric to Berghain to Bassiani. With Proxima, she’s created a record label, event series and community of artists pushing futuristic club music forward. For Audrey and for Proxima, the future is as thrilling as the one her music imagines.
